Amos 3:3 (NLT) “Can two walk together without agreeing where to go?”

Q1. In the video, Charlotte mentioned how in Amos 3:3 it talks about how friendships should have a purpose in where they are going.

  • When thinking about friendships in your life, ask yourself where are your friendships taking you?

Q2. Natalie talked about the conversations of your friendships. She mentioned how for her and Charlotte the moment they became friends, Charlotte began speaking life into her.

  • Take a moment and talk about a friendship that speaks life into you.

Q3. Natalie shared how if we are not careful our friendships can become a place of complaining. We mask it by saying something like “I’m just being real”, but in reality, this talk becomes destructive.

  • If you are honest with yourself, are there friendships you are being destructive in?

  • What changes can you make this week to begin bringing life to them rather than destruction?

Q4. Natalie and Charlotte mentioned that at times we look at our friendships to fulfill needs that God should be fulfilling for us.

  • When thinking of your friendships, share an area you need to turn to God vs finding fulfillment & security in other areas.

Q5. In the video, Natalie and Charlotte shared the verse in Proverbs 17:9 which says, “Overlook an offense and bond a friendship; fasten on to a slight and - good-bye, friend!” They shared how the smallest of things can break amazing friendships because we are not letting go and overlooking an offense.

  • What are some areas you need to let go and forgive a friend?

Go around the room and discuss the following questions:

  • What are some of the strengths you bring to your friendships?

  • What are some places you can grow as a friend to make your friendships richer.

Before you end, take a moment to pray. We believe there isn’t anything more powerful than women coming together in prayer. Each woman has come tonight with her own needs and we believe that prayer has the power to break down walls and heal hearts. Give each woman the opportunity to share her prayer requests and close the night in prayer.

Be sure to take a photo together then tag us at @DareToBeEvent to enter to win a chance to have Natalie and/or Charlotte call in at your next Dare To Be Home Party! Finally, if you haven’t already, ask all the women to follow @DareToBeEvent to stay up to date on ALL things, Dare To Be. .
